Post Procedure Instructions

Neurotoxin’s- (Xeomin, Botox)

POST PROCEDURE:

  • You may experience slight redness, bumps and swelling to the treated area the remainder of the day. You may also experience of headache for a few days which is completely normal.
  • We recommend avoiding lying flat and or bending forward for 4 hours after your treatment. No physical exercise for 24 hours.
  • The night of your injections please wash your face away from your eyes as you most likely do already.
  • Lopsided appearance (example 1 eyebrow not even with the other) is the reason why we require 1 – 2 week follow up visit for a quick adjustment

HOW LONG DOES YOUR NEUROTOXIN LAST?

  • On average: 3 – 4 months
  • Each person’s metabolism may break down the product sooner therefore may require additional treatments to achieve the desired look.

Dermal Fillers – HA, Sculptra, BellaFill, Radiesse

 POST PROCEDURE:

  • You may experience temporary bruising, swelling and redness for up to 2 weeks. We recommend you manually massage the area to reduce the underlying swelling. On day two, it is ok to apply ice to the area and to use warm compress. Follow your normal skincare routine.
  • Recommended anti-inflammatory: Advil, Tylenol, Arnica pellets

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

  • On Average: 8 months to 1 year
  • Each person’s metabolism may break down the product sooner therefore may require additional treatments lo achieve the desired look.

Chemical Peels

 POST PROCEDURE:

  • You may experience redness and swelling to the treated area. This may last for a few days. Usually on the 3rd day, peeling begins. Do not pick, scrub, exfoliate your skin – allow the skin to peel and heal on its own – one week after the peel is applied, we recommend you exfoliate.
  • All of our peels come with products to be used for the next 7 days – only use these products and follow the patients’ instructions with the products for optimal results.
  • Common side effects could be dark spots get darker, dark spots are crusty, or the spots are still there after the peel.

HOW LONG DOES CHEMICAL PEELS LAST?

  • On average: 3 – 4 months
  • Each person’s skin may react differently therefore may require additional treatments to achieve the desired look.

BBL

POST PROCEDURE:

  • You may experience slight redness and swelling to the treated area for day or so. We recommend avoiding the sun during for at least 2 weeks before and after a treatment. If you have the traditional paddle marks (red boxes) please treat like a sunburn – apply aloe vera and or Silvadene cream.

HOW LONG DOES BBL LAST?

  • On average: Yearly
  • Each person’s skin may react differently to this treatment therefore may require additional treatments to achieve the desired look.

Laser Resurfacing

 POST PROCEDURE

  • You may experience slight redness, dryness, crusting, scabs, itchiness, red bumps and swelling to the treated area immediately after which may last a few days. You also may have the traditional paddle marks (white lines). We recommend applying a generous amount of Aqua for throughout the next several days to keep the skin moist. For itchiness we recommend Benadryl or Claritin to help alleviate these common symptoms.
  • Common side effects could be: dark spots got darker, dark spots are crusty, or the spots are still there after the laser treatment.

HOW LONG DOES LASER RESURFACE TREATMENT LAST?

  • On average: 1 year
  • Each person’s skin may react differently therefore may require additional treatments to achieve the desired look.

Kybella

POST PROCEDURE

  • Moderate to severe swelling post procedure. It is not uncommon to have some slight numbness in the injection site as well. This will go away in a few days and may even last a few weeks.

  • Permanent
